Erie Floors Covid-19 Protocols
In order to operate safely for our community, families and staff, we have implemented company-wide COVID-19 Protocols. It is our intention to exceed the CDC and Government guidelines and consists of the following:
Erie Floors will operate though the pandemic with complete transparency internally and externally about the status of any possible exposure to COVID-19. We will ALWAYS incorporate CDC Personal health standards in our daily lives at work and at home, (e.g. wash hands regularly, clean & disinfect surfaces, cough into elbow, and awareness of touching your face.) Our company is commitment to reducing personal interactions by moving as much in the way of personal contact to internet and phone and logistics. Once retail showrooms reopen, it will be by appointment only until advised otherwise. We are available via phone, cyber, and social media around the clock. Showroom sanitation will be rigorous after all interactions. No drop-by visits from outside sales people to our office or from our office to you without a friendly call verifying state of all participants, health and well-being of both parties. Erie Floors will always be mindful of what we touch of yours and remain socially distant with no personal touching. All vehicles will have sanitation supplies to disinfect prior to departing a customer or vendor. Installation vehicles have hand-washing stations with sanitizing supplies to disinfect avenues of ingress and egress before and after your installation, as well as the vehicle and equipment used during your project. In the event should any staff member exhibit symptoms whether at home or office, they will notify our internal COVID-19 safety officer and will be scheduled for testing and proceed through the process as directed by the CDC and physician guidance. Upon such an occurrence, all parties that the person came into contact will undergo IMMEDIATE contact tracing and be notified of the investigation. If the test results are positive, then the employee will remain quarantined as per CDC requirements and the contact trace list will be notified. If an employee must remain at home, they can do so without concern of their employment. Our organization has sick leave options implemented during the COVID-19 Discovery Process. At no point will the good of the job or good of the paycheck take precedence over the safety of the lives of our community.
Thank you for your past and future efforts to inhibit the spread of COVID-19. Our community’s safety through this pandemic is paramount. We are in this together. Regards, John Maclay President Erie Floors
